AN EXHIBITION highlighting Haddington’s brewing industry will be toasted in the New Year.
The event, organised by the not-for-profit community interest company Brewing Heritage Scotland, takes place in the town’s John Gray Centre from January 19 to April 24. Already, the Scottish Brewing Archive Association has helped contribute and gather artefacts relating to Haddington’s beer and malting history, with the support of East Lothian Council.
Donations from Haddington’s pub and brewing past are welcome.
The exhibition is part of the Raise Your Glass series and previous displays have taken place in Edinburgh, Musselburgh and Alloa.
There will be some information displays about brewing in Scotland, in addition to more specific items relating to the town.
