POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an elderly man was hit by a car in Tranent.
The man was hit by a black car, possibly a saloon, outside the town's Keepers Arms on Bridge Street on Tuesday, September 4 at about 10.25am.
The car, travelling from High Street, turned right at the nearby mini-roundabout, and struck the man, who suffered minor injuries.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 0946 of September 4.
