MEMBERS of the public are being encouraged to raise their glass as part of Haddington’s first-ever gin festival.
Hadd-Gin-Ton will offer people the chance to sample various speciality gins from tomorrow (Friday) till Sunday.
The festival, which takes place at the town’s Bridge Centre, is part of the ongoing Haddington 700 celebrations.
Businessman Paul Kinnoch, who is involved in the festival, said: “We are looking forward to the event and it is a bit of a festival, with music and food as well.
“On the Sunday, we have got gin and jazz, with a jazz band coming along.”
It runs 7-11pm tomorrow; 1-5pm and 7-11pm on Saturday, and 2-6pm on Sunday.

Then, on Saturday, samples are available from 1pm to 5pm and 7pm to 11pm before Sunday offers gin and jazz from 2pm to 6pm.
Tickets are £10 and include a commemorative gin goblet.
