A TWELVE-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged in connection with a fire which damaged a phone box in Pencaitland.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland confirmed: “Police in East Lothian have charged a 12-year-old boy in connection with a wilful fire-raising incident at phone box in the Lempockwells Road area of Pencaitland.

“The incident was reported to Police around 6am on Saturday August 25.

“A report has been sent to the Children’s Reporter.”
