A MUSSELBURGH man has admitted using aggressive language towards staff at Tranent Library.
Daniel Wells appeared at the library at Winton Place in July last year and swore and used abusive language towards council employees working there.
By committing the offence, Wells, of Monktonhall Terrace, was breaking a previous court-imposed anti-social behaviour order (ASBO) which banned him from using threatening or abusive language towards East Lothian Council employees.
The ASBO was imposed on June 6 last year and Wells broke the conditions of the order by attending at the library just four weeks later on July 6 last year.
At Edinburgh Sheriff Court, Wells also admitted to a second charge of behaving aggressively towards his former partner at his home.
The 31-year-old prevented the woman from leaving his home and uttered threats of violence towards her, all on July 6 last year.
Wells will return to court for sentencing on September 21.
