A PORT Seton man has denied arranging to meet up with a 'young boy' at an Edinburgh train station to have sex.
Craig Raeburn is alleged to have attempted to meet a youngster called ‘Cammy’ at the Capital’s Waverley Station in March with the intention of engaging in sexual activity.
Raeburn, 53, is alleged to have turned up to meet the "12-year-old boy" but allegedly instead found himself being met by an adult male who had allegedly been portraying ‘Cammy’ online.
Raeburn is also facing allegations of sending 'Cammy' a sexual image over the internet and sending him social media messages containing sexually explicit remarks.
Raeburn appeared from custody at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday, where he lodged not guilty pleas to the charges.
He is also accused of a separate charge of breaching a Sexual Offences Prevention Order allegedly imposed in February last year by allegedly being in possession of an electronic device which can access the internet.
All the alleged offences are said to have occurred between March 17 and 28 this year.
Raeburn was remanded in custody and will return to court for a further hearing next month.
