Matthew Benison appeared in private at Edinburgh Sheriff Court
An East Linton man has appeared in court on petition in connection with alleged child abuse images offences.
Matthew Benison made a brief appearance in private at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday.
No plea was lodged and the case was continued for further examination.
Benison, 34, was released on bail and he will return to court at a date still to be decided.
Benison is facing charges under the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 which alleges he took, or allowed to be taken, indecent images of children.
