THE train line between North Berwick and Drem is opening for the first time since Monday after snow was cleared from it.
The section of the line between two stations had been shut on Monday afternoon due to snow falling on the line from the embankments overlooking it.
Trains have been starting at terminating at Drem ever since, while work has been taking place to clear the snow so the line can re-open.
This afternoon, Network Rail announced that the line could at last be re-opened.
We've removed over-hanging snow from embankments at #NorthBerwick and cleared snow from tracks and can now re-open the line with a temporary speed limit.
