A SEARCH is on to find a woman who has gone missing in East Linton in freezing conditions.

Paula Lunam was last seen leaving her home on Hardie Terrace at about 4.40pm yesterday (Thursday).

The 39-year-old has not returned and concerns are growing for her welfare.

Anyone who can assist police with their inquiries is asked to come forward.

Paula is described as white, 5ft 3ins tall with a very slight build and long blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing a green tartan coat, multi-coloured hat and white and pink floral wellies.

Inspector Helen Miller said: "Given the extremely cold weather and the time that has passed since Paula was last seen, we are keen to locate her as soon as possible.

"Anyone who knows her current whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately.

"I would also urge Paula to get in touch to let us know she is safe."
