The trailer was stolen during the early hours of the morning
A HGV trailer was stolen from a Dunbar yard in the early hours of the morning.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a break-in to AG Thomson and Sons, on the town's Spott Road.
The incident is thought to have taken place between 2.30am and 3.15am today (Thursday).
The secure yard was entered and a low loader HGV trailer has been stolen by hitching up a white 3-axle tractor unit and driving off towards the A1.
A spokesman for Police Scotland encouraged anyone with information to get in touch by phoning 101 and quoting incident number 0491 of February 1, 2018, or anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
