The Cockenzie Primary School pupil was asked by American blues musician Tom Bowers to come up with artwork for his new CD in April, when his fundraising initiative was getting started.

And the Californian was so impressed by Jack's work that the Prestonpans youngster's drawing will now be in pride of place on the front cover of Tom's new CD, 'My Baby Loves Me'.

The picture features Jack playing the bass guitar. When Jack originally posted the drawing on his website, a delighted Tom was quick to praise his efforts.

"Jack, your drawing is absolutely fabulous and is going to add a lot to my new CD," the musician told him.

"You definitely captured the spirit of what it is I do. Thank you so much.

"Your giving nature is very inspirational. I hope your brother [Noah, whose frequent trips to the hospital were the catalyst for Jack's drawings] gets better soon." On the inside sleeve of Tom's album cover the musician also pays tribute to big-hearted Jack's efforts.

"Jack Henderson is a six-year-old boy who has some big drawing skills and an even bigger heart," he says.

Although Jack is no longer taking picture requests, donations can still be made at his website,
