It may feel as if the last Scottish Parliament election just passed a short time ago but preparations have already begun for the next in 2026. Ahead of that Scottish Parliament election, Boundaries Scotland is undertaking a review of all Scottish Parliament boundaries.
Last week, the Scottish Government announced £7 million in funding for 32 projects to drive innovation in the production, storage and distribution of renewable hydrogen. One project to receive this funding was Green Cat Hydrogen, which is based in my constituency but operates projects across Scotland. I very much welcome the Scottish Government’s commitment to provide £100 million in funding over this parliamentary session to supporting the hydrogen sector.

THE UK Government Budget 2023/2024 was again a series of missed opportunities to help those who need it the most and did not go far enough to address the worries of households across the UK.
I AM PLEASED that Education Institute of Scotland (EIS) and Scottish Secondary Teachers’ Association (SSTA) voted to accept the historic pay offer for teachers, which will see a 14.6 per cent pay uplift over 28 months.
