ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984 SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDEP BY THE ROAP TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT. 1991
CYNGOR SIR YNYS MON / ISLE OF ANGLESEY COUNTY COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) (ROAP FROM B5111 THROUGH BACHAU ANP HEBRON TO MAENADDWYN) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cyngor Sir Ynys Man/ Isle of Anglesey County Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will temporarily prohibit all vehicles from travelling in either direction along that section of the road from B5111 through Bachau and Hebron to Maenaddwyn, more specifically from the junction at Tyddyn to opposite Brynteg, Llanerchymedd.
The Order is necessary for Openreach to access underground structure - cabling to restore customer service.
The alternative route will be from the eastern side of the closure, travel in an easterly direction to the crossroads in Maenaddwyn, then turn right at the crossroads and travel in a southerly direction from Maenaddwyn through Capel Coch and Tregaian to the junction with the B5111, then turn right and travel in a northerly direction to the junction in Bachau, Llanerchymedd, then turn right at Bachau onto the Maenaddwyn Road and travel in an easterly direction to the western side of the closure.
The Order comes into effect on 19th March, 2018 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 3 months or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the works will be take place between 9:30am on 19th March, 2018 and 3:30pm on 22nd March, 2018.
