TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTIONS 257 AND 261 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14 NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL PARISH OF BAVINGTON (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO 16 AND PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY NO 15) TEMPORARY DIVERSION ORDER 2019 The above Order was made on 16* September 2019. The effect of the Order will be to temporarily divert the rights of way as follows:-Public Footpath No 16 (Parish of Bavington)

To temporarily extinguish Public Footpath No 16 (Parish of Bavington), from

a point 560 metres north of Homilton, (Grid Reference: 9793 7894) in a

general easterly and north-easterly direction for 360 metres, to a point 450

metres south-west of Claywalls Farm. (GR: 9812 7919).

Public Bridleway No 15 (Parish of Bavington)

To temporarily extinguish Public Bridleway No. 15 (Parish of Bavington),

from a point 130 metres north-east of Homilton, (GR: 9788 7849) in a

general northerly direction for 980 metres, to a point 690 metres west of

Claywalls Farm. (GR: 9775 7939).

Public Footpath No 16 (Parish of Bavington)

To temporarily create a 1.5 metre wide path from a point 170 metres north­east of Homilton, (GR: 9788 7857) in a general easterly, north-easterly, northerly and north-westerly direction for 880 metres to a point 450 metres south-west of Claywalls Farm. (GR: 9812 7919). Public Bridleway No 15 (Parish of Bavington) To temporarily create a 1.5 - 3 metre wide path from a point 130 metres north-east of Homilton, (GR: 9788 7849) in a northerly, north-easterly, north-westerly and north-easterly direction for 1110 metres to a point 690 metres west of Claywalls Farm. (GR: 9775 7939). These details are shown on the Order map. A copy of the Order and map have been placed, and may be seen free of charge at the Information Centre, Queens Hall, Beaumont Street, Hexham , NE46 3LS and the offices of the Legal Services Manager, County Hall, Morpeth, Northumberland, NE61 2EF during normal working hours. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased.

Any representations or objection relating to the Order must be sent to the Legal Services Manager at the address shown below no later than 7th November 2019. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Northumberland County Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representation or objection which has not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.

The closure is required for the extraction of minerals by quarrying methods at Divithill Quarry and will be effective until 31" December 2023 or until the mineral workings are complete, whichever is the sooner.
