NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) U8191 COW LANE/PRIORY GARDENS CORBRIDGE TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PARKING RESTRICTION ORDER 2019
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prohibit the use by all vehicular traffic and to prohibit the use by all pedestrians on the following section of highway:-
? U8191 Cow Lane from its junction with Priory Gardens heading north for a distance of 350 metres in the County of Northumberland. The highway will be closed at all times from the 24th September 2019 until the 27th May 2020.

This Order will further prohibit parking restrictions on the following sections of highway between 10:00 hours and 14:00 hours on the above dates.
? U8191 Priory Gardens for its full length.

The Order will be effective from the 24th September 2019 until the 27th May 2020.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic. The alternative route for pedestrians will be Stagshaw Road, St.Helens Lane, Hippingstone Lane, Corbridge Tynedale District Footpath 008 and Corbridge Tynedale District Bridleway 007.

The closure has been requested in the interests of public safety by Miller Homes to construct a new estate site entrance and for the safety of all pedestrians whilst works are carried out on the highway.
