HISLOP James (Jim/Jimmy) (Prestonpans) Peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, January 13th, 2022, after an illness fought with great strength and dignity, James (Jim/Jimmy), dearly loved husband and best friend of Carol (Carolyn), much loved and adored dad of Evelyn, Margaret, Jim and Carolyn, loving father-in-law to Simon and Joe, cherished grandad and great grandad to all his grandchildren, dear brother-in-law and uncle to the family. A funeral service will be held at Prestonpans Cemetery, on Monday, February 7th at 11 am, to which all family and friends are welcome. Family flowers only. Bright colours to be worn.
