REID Alastair (Macmerry) Suddenly but peacefully at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary 26th December 2021, Ally loving husband to Margaret, cherished da to James, Tina and Daniel, devoted papa. Ally will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A service will take place at Seafield Crematorium on 25th January at 2pm to which all are invited. A bus will be in attendance from Macmerry Miners to leave at 1.15pm, then picking up at 1.20pm at Tranent Police Station. Collection in memory of Ally will be taken if so desired for Sight Scotland Veterans.
