A FAMILIAR face will return to the touchlines of Preston Lodge RFC matches next season.
The club has confirmed that former head coach Mark Steedman will be back at the club, working alongside head coach Andrew Clark.
Steedman stood down as PL boss in 2016, handing the reigns to ex-Musselburgh stand-off Clark.
In the two years that have followed, he has been assistant coach at Musselburgh under Grant Talac.
But with Talac standing down from his role as Burgh boss, Steedman has opted to head back to the Pennpit.
Clark told Courier Sport this week: "Mark will come in next season and work on defence.
"He has a lot of experience and he knows a lot of the senior players from his time here before, and he's involved with the pathway stuff so he knows a lot of the younger guys as well.
"Steedy is a really good guy to have around – he will be a big help to me as well."
