NORTH Berwick-born winger Tom Brown hsa been recalled to the Edinburgh Rugby side for their clash with Guinness Pro14 champions Scarlets tomorrow (Saturday). 

Once-capped Scotland wing Brown replaces international colleague Damien Hoyland on the right wing for Richard Cockerill's side.

Chris Dean retains his place after scoring two tries in the defeat to Benetton Rugby a week ago, and will make his 46th appearance for the club. 

Brown, who scored for Hawick in the BT Premiership a week ago, will line up for the 108th time in the black and red, but his first of the season. 

The 23-man squad includes 10 full internationalists, with nine Scotland players joined by Italy prop Michele Rizzo. 

On his team selection, Cockerill said: "We know that Scarlets are going to be an incredibly tough side to break down defensively, but we've got confidence in this group of players.

"If we bring the correct levels of intensity and desire, there is no reason we can't stay in the battle and look to come away with a result.”
