TWO county rugby stars have been included in this year's Scotland Club International squad.
Glasgow Hawks back-row Tommy Spinks and Currie back Harvey Elms, both from North Berwick, have been included in the 30-man squad by coach Phil Smith.
Chris Laidlaw, the Dunbar RFC development officer who plays for Boroughmuir, is also included.
The squad will travel to Birmingham Moseley for a fixture against England Counties on February 24 with a home fixture to be confirmed at a later date.
The two sides met last year, with the Scotland Club XV coming out 57-27 winners in Galashiels.
Smith, who is also head coach at Heriot's, said: “I have selected players who have been in genuine form in the BT Premiership and who are best representing the Scottish club game with some new faces adding to the depth and talent of the squad.
“The fixture against England Counties will be a good test away from home and is a great opportunity for the players to show that the club game in Scotland is consistently played out at a high level.”
