County football sensation Matthew Knox has been named among the Scotland under-17 squad for an upcoming friendly.
The Prestonpans youngster, who only recently celebrated his 16th birthday, is part of Scot GEmmill's squad for the match with Iceland.
The match is part of Scotland’s preparations for next month’s UEFA European Championship Elite Round qualifiers.
Livingston ace Knox made his professional debut just four days after turning 16, in a Boxing Day win over St. Mirren.
He has since been on trial at Manchester United, while a January bid from two-time European champions Nottingham Forest was turned down by Livi.
The match will be played at Cappielow – home to Greenock Morton – on Tuesday (February 23).
