Defending champion Alex Marshall will go into next month"s Potters Holidays World Indoor Championship heading the World Bowls Tour world
rankings.
The latest provisional list by the World Bowls Tour follows last month"s International Open in Burgess Hill, England.
But Welshman Jason Greenslade – the only seed to reach the quarter-finals in the upset-ridden WBT event at the Olympos Burgess Hill – has closed the gap by rising two places to No.2.
Marshall will renew his remarkable association with Potters Leisure Resort when he bids to extend his record world title haul at the venue.
The 41-year-old from Tranent last year became the first player in history to win the world title for a fifth time and is favourite to see his familiar red bowls take the title again this year.
