TWO netball teams from an East Lothian secondary school are hoping to land an impressive double.

The S1 and S2 teams from North Berwick High School head west on Friday (April 19) to the Emirates Stadium.

The younger age group will head to Glasgow looking to lift the Schools Scottish Shield, while the older age group, who won the Netball Scotland Scottish Schools Cup Plate competition 12 months ago, are through to the Schools Scottish Cup final.

Sally Hetherington, North Berwick High School coach, said: “We’re so excited.

"The S1 team, some had never played netball before.

"Fifty per cent had never stepped on a court before and they have done so well.
