Knox Academy have been celebrating success on the rugby field
A TEAM of teenage rugby starlets have emerged unbeaten to be crowned champions in Troon.
Knox Academy’s under-13s travelled west to take part in a rugby tournament hosted by Marr RFC.
They defeated Greenock, Carrick and the hosts in the pool stages to reach the semi-finals. There, they beat West of Scotland before inflicting a second defeat on Marr, 14-5, in the final.
A spokesperson for the team said: “It was a fantastic performance from a great team!”
The Knox Academy squad was: Robbie Hamilton, George Herkes, Edward Millar, Kade Te Rito, Nicholai Furie, Dylan Ramsay, Archie Brownlee, Euan Shepard, Ewan Forrest, Deacon Roberts, Hagan Connell, Laurie Scott, Harry Lewis and Owen Oliver.
