Match of the Day

Dunipace v Dunbar United

East of Scotland Qualifying Cup Semi-Finals

Kick-off 2.30pm

DUNBAR United are one game away from reaching their first-ever cup final as a senior club.

Kevin Haynes and his side make the journey to First Division pacesetters Dunipace with the winners going on to tackle either Broxburn Athletic or Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts in the final.

Dunipace sit six points clear at the top of the First Division table and look near certain to join Dunbar in the top flight.

The Seasiders won the First Division last term and sit sixth in the Premier Division, with games in hand over two of their rivals above them.

An entertaining clash should be served up at Westfield Park.

Civil Service Strollers v Tranent

Scottish Lowland Football League

Kick-off 3pm

WHILE Tranent can no longer pip East Kilbride to the Scottish Lowland Football League title, they still have plenty to play for this campaign.

Fifth in the table, the Belters will be aiming to overtake at least Cumbernauld Colts and finish in the top four.

Their hosts sit 12 points adrift of them but also have a game in hand.

The two sides have met twice this campaign with both contests taking place at Foresters Park.

The visitors were 1-0 winners on Boxing Day but Tranent gained a measure of revenge after knocking them out of the Lowland League Cup on penalties after a Cammie Ross double in normal time.

Haddington Athletic v Dundonald Bluebell

East of Scotland Football League Premier Division

Kick-off 2.30pm

A 3-1 VICTORY last time out was Haddington’s first league win since the beginning of the year.

Now, they will be hoping to end the season strongly and have another home game to look forward to.

Only goal difference separates Haddington and Dundonald Bluebell, although their visitors do have five games in hand.

Victory for Haddington would push them back into the top half of the table.

Musselburgh Athletic v Jeanfield Swifts

East of Scotland Football League Premier Division

Kick-off 2.30pm

SECOND plays third at the top of the EoSFL Premier Division with both teams keen to finish as, at least, runners up.

Two points separates the two sides who both trail long-time leaders Broxburn Athletic in the standings.

Victory for Musselburgh would see them close the gap on the West Lothian outfit to nine points with a game in hand and keep alive those flickering title ambitions.

Musselburgh and Jeanfield Swifts are also due to face each other next month as the league campaign reaches its finale.

Ormiston Primrose v Stirling University Reserves

East of Scotland Football League Second Division

Kick-off 2.30pm

SEVEN points adrift, Ormiston Primrose will need to start picking up points if they are to avoid relegation to the Third Division.

The first opportunity comes this afternoon when Stirling University Reserves head to East Lothian.

The visitors sit fifth in the table but with 12 wins and 10 defeats from their 22 league games it shows their inconsistency.

The two sides met on the opening day of the season when Ormiston recorded a memorable 5-4 win.
