Haddington Athletic v Dunbar United

East of Scotland Football League Premier Division

Kick-off 2.30pm

HEADING into the last round of fixtures of the year, East Lothian’s EoSFL Premier Division sides are locked together from fifth to seventh.

Hosts Haddington Athletic are bottom of that small group with their visitors from the eastern end of the county sitting top.

Only four points separate the two sides going into the contest.

The Seasiders won the reverse fixture in September and will be looking for another three points to keep them in the battle for the top of the table.

Meanwhile, after a promising start, Haddington had hit something of a sticky patch and will be looking to end the year on the front foot.

Civil Service Strollers v Tranent

Scottish Lowland Football League

Kick-off 3pm

A SURPRISE defeat to Civil Service Strollers last weekend brought Ian Little’s impressive run of form as Tranent manager to an end.

Now, the club face an immediate opportunity to put that right with a trip to Christie Gillies Park.

The Capital club are six points adrift of Tranent, who will be looking to put pressure on the teams above them.

Victory for Tranent, along with other results, could see them jump to second in the table behind long-term leaders East Kilbride.

Penicuik Athletic v Musselburgh Athletic

East of Scotland Football League Premier Division

Kick-off 2.30pm

SIXTH in the table, Musselburgh Athletic will be looking to keep their title hopes alive as they travel to Penicuik.

The Midlothian men have been inconsistent at times this campaign with six wins and six defeats from their 15 contests.

In contrast, Musselburgh have lost just twice this term and boast games in hand over the majority of the sides above them.

Liam Burns and his side were 6-2 winners at Olivebank earlier in the season and would gladly take another victory by a similar margin.

East Lothian Courier: Ormiston Primrose travel to PeeblesOrmiston Primrose travel to Peebles

Peebles Rovers v Ormiston Primrose

East of Scotland Football League Second Division

Kick-off 2pm

BOTTOM of the table Ormiston Primrose head south to take on a Peebles Rovers side sitting just four places above them.

Three points for Richie Weir and his side could be enough to not only lift them off the bottom but also out of the relegation zone.

Peebles won in East Lothian in September but there was only a single goal in it and it could be another tight game.

Ormiston will be hoping there is no rustiness as they have not played a full 90 minutes of competitive football since the end of November.
