LEAGUE action is the focus for East Lothian’s teams in the lead up to Christmas.
Each of the county sides are due to be in action this afternoon (Saturday) and on the hunt for three points.
In the Scottish Lowland Football League, Tranent welcome the University of Stirling.
Meanwhile, in the top flight of the East of Scotland Football League (EoSFL), Dunbar United and Musselburgh Athletic both have home contests.
Hill of Beath Hawthorn are the visitors to New Countess Park while Tynecastle head to Olivebank.
Haddington face a trip to league leaders Broxburn Athletic.
In the First Division, Blackburn United are the visitors to Preston Athletic and Ormiston Primrose look for three Second Division points at home to Kennoway Star Hearts.

UP TO fourth in the Scottish Lowland Football League table, Tranent will look to keep their fine form going this afternoon.
Victory over Bo’ness United keeps the Belters firmly in the pack trying to catch league leaders East Kilbride.
Things do not get any easier for Ian Little’s side, who welcome a University of Stirling outfit just two places behind them in the league.
Victory is very much needed to keep the pressure on the teams above them.
Broxburn Athletic v Haddington Athletic
East of Scotland Football League Premier Division

A STUNNING second half showing against Kinnoull got Haddington back in the winning habit.
However, they will need to be at their best if they are to make it back-to-back wins as they take on league leaders Broxburn Athletic.
The West Lothian side set the early running in the EoSFL Premier Division and are refusing to falter in their bid to win the title.
They have lost just one of their opening 14 league games but Haddington could help out the chasing pack by picking up a result.
Dunbar United v Hill of Beath Hawthorn
East of Scotland Football League Premier Division

VICTORY last time out against Tynecastle has Dunbar sitting third in the top flight of the EoSFL.
They have played a game more than league leaders Broxburn but will be looking to capitalise on any slip up.
They welcome a Hill of Beath Hawthorn side who are also on the lookout for points.
The Fife team sit five points clear of the relegation zone and will be looking to put some distance between themselves and the bottom of the table.
Musselburgh Athletic v Tynecastle
East of Scotland Football League Premier Division
Kick-off 2.30pm
POSTPONEMENT last time out left Musselburgh watching out for results in other games.
Sitting fifth in the table, they will be looking to get back to winning ways against Tynecastle.
Musselburgh are 10 points adrift of Broxburn but do have a game in hand over the league leaders.
Regardless, they will need to ensure they are picking up points if they are to have any chance of closing the gap.
Tynecastle, 10th in the table, would seem to present a realistic opportunity to do just that.
Preston Athletic v Blackburn United
East of Scotland Football League First Division
Kick-off 2.30pm
IT IS a congested looking mid-table in the EoSFL First Division.
Just nine points separate Kirkcaldy & Dysart in sixth place from Leith Athletic in 14th, with Preston among the teams in the middle of that pack.
A battling draw at Whitehill Welfare – another of the teams in the congested field – proved useful.
Now, they will looking for three points at home to a Blackburn United sitting one place and one point behind their hosts.
Ormiston Primrose v Kennoway Star Hearts
East of Scotland Football League Second Division
Kick-off 1.30pm
A GOAL up and hoping to get at least a point, Ormiston Primrose saw their game against Edinburgh United last weekend abandoned.
Now, they will look to put that setback behind them against an inconsistent Kennoway Star Hearts.
The Fife side have won six and lost five of their 11 games and scored 25 goals while conceding 26.
Victory could be enough to lift Ormiston out of the drop zone and above both Newburgh and Edinburgh United.
