FRANCESCA McGhie has retained her place in the Scotland Women’s starting line-up.
Bryan Easson, the team’s head coach, has named an unchanged side to face USA in the second round of fixtures of WXV 2 in South Africa on Friday.
McGhie, of Musselburgh, was part of the Scotland side that defeated the hosts 31-17 last week.
She also had a try disallowed in the victory.
Looking ahead to the fixture, which kicks off at 1pm UK time, Easson said: “The players who started last week performed well and deserved another shot on Friday, so it was important to keep the consistency in selection.
“USA are similar to South Africa in terms of their physicality and will bring a lot of athleticism to the game.
“I think they will pose a threat in terms of their attacking play but we’ve prepared well this week and hope to put in a solid performance on Friday.”
North Berwick’s Liz Musgrove has been named on the bench.
