DUNBAR sprint star Maria Lyle has claimed gold in the T35 100m at the World Para Athletics European Championships.
Lyle stormed to victory in a time of 15.32s this evening (Tuesday) as she retained the title for the third successive European championships.

The 18-year-old's win backs up her gold medals from Swansea four years ago and Grosseto, Italy, in 2016.

And the former Dunbar Grammar School pupil will get a chance to add to her gold medal haul when she turns out for the T35 200m final on Sunday.
