PRESTONPANS boxing sensation Josh Taylor will not now defend his WBC Silver super lightweight title against former two-weight world champion Humberto Soto in Glasgow next Saturday.
The Mexican has withdrawn from facing undefeated Taylor at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow due to injury, and has been replaced by Nicaragua’s Winston Campos.
Cyclone Promotions confirmed the news on social media earlier today (Saturday).

A statement from Taylor, posted on his Twitter page, added: "Unfortunately my opponent for next Saturday has received a cut over his eye in sparring and had to receive stitches which lead to him having to pull out the fight.
"I will now facing Winston Campos. I would like to thank my team for finding a quality opponent at such short notice."
Twenty-five-year-old Campos is, like Taylor, a southpaw, but has a far inferior record to ex-world champion Soto - Campos has 30 wins, three defeats and five draws to date.
