COUNTY rugby rivals will do battle as Edinburgh Rugby and Glasgow Warriors clash in the 1872 Cup at BT Murrayfield on Saturday.
Musselburgh-born Huw Jones will start for Glasgow, recalled after sitting out their Champions Cup trip to Montpellier at the weekend.
Jones forms part of an all-Scotland international backline, despite stand-off Finn Russell only being named on the bench, with Pete Horne handed the number 10 jersey (see tweet below for full Glasgow team).

And Jones, who has won 11 Test caps since his debut in summer 2016, could go head-to-head with Chris Dean, if the North Berwick-born back comes off the Edinburgh bench on Saturday evening.
Dean missed out on a place in the starting XV to Scotland 7s star James Johnstone and full Test cap Phil Burleigh, but is among the replacements for Richard Cockerill's side (see tweet below for full Edinburgh team).

In a change to the recent format, the 1872 Cup will be played for over three matches - two in the festive period and one at the end of the season - rather than an aggregate scoreline over two matches.
The change in format is due to the addition of the two South African sides to the Guinness Pro14 this season.
A bumper crowd is expected at BT Murrayfield for Saturday's match, with the return game at Scotstoun next Saturday (December 30) already a sell out.
