NORTH Beriwck-born rugby star Chris Dean is in line to make his 50th appearance for Edinburgh Rugby tomorrow (Saturday).

Dean has been named among the replacements for the club's Guinness Pro14 match at home to Ospreys tomorrow evening.

He is joined on the bench by fellow county star Lewis Carmichael, who also grew up in North Berwick, while Tom Brown, a former Law Primary School pupil, has been named on the left wing.

Brown, once-capped for Scotland, returns to the side after a two-week absence. 

Former captain Magnus Bradbury returns to the squad for the first time since being stripped of the captaincy followintg a head knock on a night out in Edinburgh, joining Carmichael and Dean on the bench.
