FORMER North Berwick RFC ace Lewis Carmichael will make his first Edinburgh Rugby appearance of the season in the European Challenge Cup tomorrow (Saturday).
The 22-year-old, usually a lock, has been named to start at blindside flanker for the club's meeting with Russian outfit Krasny Yar at the Fili Stadium.
It will be his first appearance for the club since returning from a four-month loan spell with Australian outfit Western Force, where he made six Super Rugby appearances.

Carmichael is joined in the 23-man squad by Tom Brown, a former Law Primary School pupil.
Brown is the most experienced member of the Edinburgh matchday squad, and will make his 112th appearance for the club, while fellow North Berwick ace Chris Dean is on the bench.
Dean, a starter in the win over London Irish a week ago, will be only two games shy of his half century of Edinburgh appearances, should he play tomorrow morning.
Head coach Richard Cockerill said: "If we’re not playing at 100 per cent then Krasny Yar are a good enough side to beat us as we saw last weekend.”
