SCOTLAND centre Huw Jones has played his final game in Super Rugby.
The Musselburgh-born star is set to return to the land of his birth when he joins Glasgow Warriors at the end of his contract with South African side Stormers.
They lost their Super Rugby quarter-final against the Chiefs of New Zealand in Cape Town on Saturday, with 23-year-old Jones not involved.
The eight-times capped centre tore his hamstring in the final game of this year’s Six Nations and, although he is back running, he has has not yet rejoined full training.
Jones previously told Courier Sport that he was unsure whether he would play in the Currie Cup – South Africa’s top club competition, which runs from June to October – or link up with Glasgow Warriors.
