TEENAGE cycling star Dylan Hughes won a silver medal at the Commonwealth Youth Games in the Bahamas yesterday (Wednesday) evening.
Hughes, 17, was second in the boys' individual time trial, finishing six seconds behind eventual winner Matthew Oliviera, of Bermuda.
The medal was a significant one for the county starlet - it is the first ever cycling medal won by Team Scotland at the Commonwealth Youth Games.
He will have a chance to add to his collection when he competes in the road race on Sunday.
