FOUR out of the five East Lothian football teams in pre-season action recorded wins yesterday (Tuesday) evening.
Preston Athletic, preparing for life in the East of Scotland League, thrashed Junior outfit Dalkeith Thistle at the Pennypit, running out 4-1 winners.
A Greg Binnie double, plus goals from Gavin Stevenson and Chris Inglis secured a second win of pre-season for the Panners.
Dunbar United were also 4-1 winners, as they saw off Edinburgh University at New Countess Park.
Geoff Jones' side fell behind early on, but Chris King pulled them level five minutes before half-time.
Second half goals from Darren Handling, and a double for Dean Ballantyne secured the win.

Along the A1, Haddington Athletic recorded a 3-1 win over Bonnyrigg Rose at Millfield.
The visitors took the lead six minutes before half-time, but the HiHi levelled through Ryan Fox three minutes later.
And Davie McGlynn's side secured the win thanks to Bob Berry's goal early in the second half.
Completing the quartet of wins were Musselburgh Athletic, who were victorious in the Capital against Edinburgh United.
Burgh fell behind within two minutes, but goals from McManus and Donaldson had them in front by the 20-minute mark.

And Keith Murray hit a third a minute from time, to secure the win for Calvin Shand's team.
Tranent Juniors were the only county side not to win - they drew 3-3 with Tynecastle.
