RUGBY ace Lewis Carmichael will play the final game of a loan spell the Western Force as they end their Super Rugby season on Saturday.
The lock, from North Berwick, has been included to the 23-man squad for the Perth-based club's all-Australian clash with the New South Wales (NSW) Waratahs.
It is the 22-year-old's first involvement with the Australian franchise since he returned from Scotland's summer tour - where he was invited to train with the squad by head coach Gregor Townsend.
And he said he "can't wait" for his final appearance of a loan deal, before he returns to his parent club, Edinburgh Rugby, and joins their pre-season preparations.
In a post on Instagram, he added: "Had the best four months with this amazing team and hopefully end it on a high."
Carmichael is among the replacements for the match, and could come into direct opposition with Australian internationalists Dean Mumm and Ned Hanigan if he is called upon for his seventh Western Force appearance.
Saturday's game kicks off at 10.45am, and is live on Sky Sports.
