PRESTONPANS boxing champion Josh Taylor will return to the ring in Glasgow on July 8.
Commonwealth super lightweight champion Taylor will meet Ohara Davies at the Braehead Arena.
The pair's long-awaited fight was confirmed last night (Friday), after a war of words on social media.
Davies has previously accused Taylor of being "scared" of him, while the 2014 Commonwealth Games gold medalist previously told Courier Sport he thought Davies was a "clown".
Taylor confirmed the bout on social media.
And Wallyford para-powerlifter Micky Yule, a team mate of Taylor's in Glasgow in 2014, urged the 'Tartan Tornado' to "teach him [Davies] a lesson," and "box his head off".
