FOOTBALLER Dean Brett made his return to action on yesterday (Monday) evening, following an eight-game ban.
Brett, from Tranent, was given two four-match bans, one for betting offences during his time at SPFL League Two side Cowdenbeath, which included bets placed against his own team.
He was also given a further four-game suspension for offensive comments made on Twitter, and was sacked by the Fife club as a result.
The defender made his return to action in the Junior ranks on Monday evening, though, as he played for Bonnyrigg Rose in their East Superleague defeat to Camelon Juniors.
