ROSS High School were crowned overall winners of this year’s East Lothian High School Swimming Gala.
The Tranent school produced winning performances in the S2 and S3 categories to take the title at Musselburgh Sports Centre earlier this month.
S1 winners Knox Academy were forced to settle for second place on 196 points, 25 behind the champions, while Musselburgh Grammar were third with 153 points.
Dunbar Grammar School finished fourth, while North Berwick High were fifth, three points ahead of Preston Lodge.
Karen Ferguson, the county’s swimming development officer, was delighted with the success of the event, which was held for the third year.
She told Courier Sport: “Over the course of the morning, there was some excellent swimming on display, with the teams supporting each other in every race.”
