MEGAN Gaffney makes her fourth consecutive start of the Women's Six Nations as Scotland face England at the Twickenham Stoop on Saturday.

Gaffney, from North Berwick, is part of the side showing one change from the win over Wales - Scotland's first in over seven years.

Sarah Bonar is promoted from the bench to replace Jade Konkel, Scotland's only female professional player, in the back-row.

The other changes come on the bench, where Rachael Cook returns to fill the space vacated by Bonar, while Abi Evans is preferred to Lauren Harris.

Gaffney, 25, will wear the number 14 jersey as she earns her 24th cap, with University of Edinburgh colleagues Rhona Lloyd and Lisa Thomson, try-scorers against Wales, joining her in the back line.

The North Berwick ace acknowledges facing world champions England will be a tall order.

She told Courier Sport: "They are a great team and it's going to be tough.

"We have to focus on ourselves and do the things we know we can do well. It’s obviously going to be really tough, but as long as we can keep improving.”

The match, played at the home of Harlequins, kicks off at 1pm on Saturday afternoon.
