A COUNTY primary school has secured new kit, thanks to a sponsorship deal with CALA Homes.
The football team at West Barns Primary School will benefit from new kit, much to the delight of Steven Gray, who coaches the youngster.
He said: “The strips make a real difference for our school and make the kids feel like they are part of a team.
“I would like to thank CALA for the support in sponsoring our strips. We are looking forward to many more games with the players looking the part.”
The mixed team features boys and girls from P4 to P7 playing seven-a-side matches against other schools from around East Lothian.
Craig Lynes, land director at CALA Homes (East), said: “Strong community spirit is important – and fun, inclusive school football teams are a great contributor towards it.
“It is fantastic to know that the kids at West Barns are keeping fit, active and getting involved with a close-knit team – and that we were able to help out in a small way by providing this kit.
“We hope they enjoy the rest of the season.”
