A TRIO of East Lothian rugby stars will be in action in Paris tomorrow (Thursday) evening.
Tom Brown, Chris Dean and Lewis Carmichael, who all grew up in North Berwick, are included in the Edinburgh Rugby squad to play Stade Francais in the European Challenge Cup.
Once-capped Scotland winger Brown returns from a groin injury to replace Will Helu on the left wing as one of eight changes made by interim head coach Duncan Hodge.
Dean is also restored, and replaces Phil Burleigh, who is subject to a disciplinary hearing today (Wednesday) after he was sent off in the Capital side's 28-23 win over the Parisians last weekend.
Completing the county contingent, Carmichael comes in to the squad on the bench, in place of club co-captain Grant Gilchrist.
The former North Berwick RFC lock could make his European debut if called upon.
The match at the Stade Jean-Bouin kicks off at 7.45pm tomorrow (Thursday) evening
