FOUR East Lothian rugby starlets helped Scotland U20 to a historic bonus-point win over Italy at the World Rugby U20 Championships.
Ally Miller, formerly of Musselburgh and PL, scored one of four tries as they eased to a 27-19 win in Manchester.
Prop Murray McCallum, and backs Robbie Nairn and Blair Kinghorn were the other try scorers for John Dalziel's side.
Matt McPhillips, of Dunbar, and North Berwick's Callum Hunter-Hill played pivotal roles in McCallum's try, while McPhillips, making his first start, was also involved in Nairn's score.
The rest of Scotland's points came from the boot of stand-off Adam Hastings, the son of Scotland legend Gavin.
Victory over the Italians means Scotland U20 won two pool matches at the world championships for the first time ever.
It placed Dalziel's side sixth after the pool stages, and they will face Australia in the fifth/sixth play-off on Monday.
