COUNTY boxing star Josh Taylor wasted little time in extending his unbeaten record last night (Saturday).
The Prestonpans fighter quickly took his flawless record to five wins from five fights when he stepped into the ring with Miguel Gonzalez.
Taylor, who is yet to go beyond the second round in any of his professional bouts, stopped his 30-year-old opponent after just 93 seconds.
A fierce left jab midway through the first round saw Gonzalez go down and he failed to beat the count.
The Tartan Tornado was on the undercard of the Andrew Selby v Louis Norman card at the Ice Arena in Cardiff.
Twenty-five-year-old Taylor is thought to be fighting in Glasgow later this month, with plans for another bout in New York City later this summer.
