LIVINGSTON have turned down a bid for county football starlet Matthew Knox.
The 16-year-old former Preston Lodge High School pupil was subject of a £75,000 bid last week, which was rejected by the West Lothian club.
Knox caught the eye during a week's trial with the Ibrox club, before providing the assist for the only goal in Livi's 1-0 win over the Championship champions last week.
Several English clubs are also in the running to sign the highly-rated youngster, and Livi have already turned down a bid from two-time European champions Nottingham Forest.
There was also interest from Queen's Park Rangers during the January transfer window.
Knox, who only made his Livingston debut on Boxing Day, and whose first start came in the win over Rangers, has spent time on trial at a host of top English Premiership clubs.
He scored in a North London derby friendly against Arsenal while with Tottenham Hotspur, and scored a stunning free-kick past World Cup winner Victor Valdes during a week at Manchester United.
The teenager has also been on trial at Liverpool and Everton..
