North Berwick maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a bonus point win over Duns on Saturday.

Club captain Grant Spence returned to the squad, but only on the bench as head coach Jason White stuck with the same back division that beat Murayfield Wanderers.

It was all-change in the pack, though, with Jamie Armstrong moving to number eight and Lee Inglis required in the second row, while Robbie Mercer was again perferred to Bhrian Buchanan.

Changes in personnel made no difference to the county side, who have made a superb start to their league campaign, and Murray West once more led the way.

The flying winger scored two of North Berwick's five tries, with brother Liam also going over, and adding four conversions.

The game was tight at the break, but the county side dominated after the resumption, and when Blair Ward went over for the fourth try, the bonus point was secured.

Late scores from Lee Inglis and Graeme Fairgrieve put the gloss on an impressive second half display.

Another bonus point win, their third in four games, means the Recreation Park men are top of East Division 1, a point ahead of St. Boswells.

Jason White's side will take a break from league duty this weekend, but will take on familiar opposition when they travel to Midlothian to face Dalkeith in the BT Edinburgh Shield.
