You report that nothing has been done to improve the toilets at North Berwick Harbour.
Whilst the toilets are appalling, as it is correctly pointed out there are excellent toilets only 350 yards away in the Imperial Car Park and of course the Scottish Seabird Centre also has toilets for those using their facilities.
There are many people in North Berwick who consider it is considerably more important, and indeed essential, if we take tourism seriously, to provide toilets at the railway station, where there are none, despite the fact it is one of the principal arrival points for tourists.
The station is used by more than three quarters of a million passengers each year. In Dunbar, where fewer passengers use their station, they not only have a manned office but toilets as well.
