Imploding Labour held to account

It would appear that, following a lengthy period of in-fighting, the East Lothian Labour Party has now finally imploded.
The fact that Labour HQ has been forced to take over its failing operation in the county is a humiliation for county MP Anne Moffat, county MSP Iain Gray and their group on the council, all of whom have a lot of explaining to do to their constituents, who deserve much better than this ongoing farce.
Thankfully the people of East Lothian, whom they are so generously paid to represent, won"t have to wait too long to cast their verdict on the local Labour machine.
When Gordon Brown eventually has the courage to call the upcoming General Election, East Lothian Labour will finally be held to account, and voters will be given the chance to elect a local, Conservative Member of Parliament who will be totally focused on representing their interests at Westminster.
