We"re still waiting for Knox"s answer

It was impressive to see so many people at the public meeting to discuss the future of health facilities in Musselburgh.

What was less impressive was the performance of those councillors present representing the current ruling coalition.

Their only contribution to the meeting was through Councillor Roger Knox; his attempts to engage the audience with a show of hands to a question he posed (to which he no doubt knew the answer) were loudly dismissed by those present.

He failed to answer the actual question put to him on the night as to whether he supported the provision of an x-ray/scanning facility located in Musselburgh at the new health centre.

As those present are still waiting on his answer, perhaps he could answer the question through the pages of the East Lothian Courier in its next edition.
